Tom Maves is the Deputy Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Services for the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) with responsibility for serving member companies and growing the US wind turbine manufacturing industry.  He also leads AWEA’s Manufacturing Working Group and AWEA’s Transportation and Logistics Working Group.

Mr. Maves recently served as the Wind Industry Lead for the Ohio Department of Development where he managed all aspects of wind energy generation projects, wind supply chain development, and efforts to attract new wind turbine manufacturing to Ohio.   He has also worked for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency as a Pollution Prevention Engineer and as a Sales Engineer for Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation.  Mr. Maves has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
